Woman earns self-determination award

Amy J. Scepaniak, right, was recently honored with the ¿Judy Cerkovich Self-Determination Award¿ at the International AER conference. Scepaniak is an outreach vision consultant at the South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired who serves the north-central part of the state. The award recognizes a professional who has exhibited outstanding service in direct care, education and/or research in itinerant services.
