Photos: Rita Crundwell case
Former Dixon Comptroller Rita Crundwell was convicted of stealing $54 million from town coffers to support a lavish lifestyle that included show horses and property. During the summer and fall of 2012, her horses, horse trailers, Illinois ranch and a 45-foot $1.5 million motor home were sold by the U.S. Marshals Service.
