Valentine's Day celebrity events in Chicago

Not everyone celebrates Valentine's Day on Valentine's Day. Some people wait until the weekend because of work or because it's a school night. And some wait, not by choice, but because they forgot about the holiday and are scrambling to save what's left of their relationships. Either way, there are still plenty of options for couples looking for something to do Valentine's Day weekend. Here is a look at some of the celebrity-related events and performances taking place in the Chicago area this weekend. -- Luis Gomez

McDonald ("Chelsea Lately") promises something for both women and men at her stand-up show. "Nothing makes you (more ready for romance) than laughter, so bring your wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, partner or sister wives," McDonald said by email. "I've been married for 12 years and I share a lot in my (act), so you will instantly feel better about your own relationship. Single ladies, bring your girlfriends and party with me. Single men, didn't I just mention I get tons of hot single drunk girls at my shows? It will be like shooting fish in a barrel."
