It might have been already been around 100 degrees, but Yolanda Wiggins, 24, added sizzle to The African American Festival with her look. The Washington resident sported a blue, brown, cream and purple print Almost Famous tunic with crocheted collar from Ross and sailor-style denim shorts from H&M. The University of Massachusetts Amherst sociology graduate student added flat-back ruffle-front Old Navy sandals, gold button stud earrings and a green acrylic bangle -- both from Forever 21 -- and a black Longchamp bag, which was a gift. She used a blue and white scarf she found at Goodwill to create a headband topped off with a bow. It all adds up to a style that's "girl-next-door with a twist." Wiggins is a big fan of "anything with a lot of color. I like Urban Outfitters and American Apparel. But that's too expensive. ... I'm a student, so I bargain shop."
