( World Golf Hall of Fame / April 13, 2012 ) Her swing was as imposing as her stature. At 6 feet 3, Mann towered over rivals on the LPGA Tour, where she won 38 tournaments, including the 1965 U.S. Women's Open, and led the tour in earnings in 1969. Mann, who attended Notre Dame Prep, played for two decades and is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. She served as LPGA president in the 1970s. |
