FASHIONABLE HAPPY HOURS

Happy hours on Thursday and Sunday will give you an opportunity to rub shoulders with Baltimore's fashion industry insiders. Baltimore Fashion Week will be hosting a happy hour Thursday at Tatu, a Pan Asian restaurant in Power Plant Live. "We thought this would be a great way to chill before we really get knee-deep into the work for fashion week," says Sharan Nixon, head of Baltimore Fashion Week. "We are so looking forward to hanging out with our fashion friends." Sunday, KIS Agency, an Annapolis-based events management and promotions company, will host Mind Your Business, a fashion industry mixer at Havana Club. The event, which is $10 in advance and $15 at the door, will feature a fashion show and a model casting for several companies. "This is a great outlet for our fellow fashion friends to meet new people, and reconnect with old friends," says Lana Rae, head of KIS Agency.
