Why we're excited: Talk about a team: Spielberg; Day-Lewis, an unexpected dead-ringer for the prez (not fighting vampires this time); script by Tony Kushner ("Angels in America"); a wide range of notables (Jones, Straitharan, Jared Harris, etc.) playing Lincoln's inner circle during the final days of the Civil War ... there's no reason not to want to see this. Unless you miss the vampires.
