Fires still burning

Firefighters were unable to put out smaller brush fires like this one near Gray's Ford Road because the steep ravine made it too dangerous for them to work at night. Firefighters will be continuing to put out smaller brush fires in the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100602080000" title="Odenton" href="/topic/us/maryland/anne-arundel-county/odenton-PLGEO100100602080000.topic">Odenton</a> area for several days, after containing larger brush fires on Saturday that spread over 600 acres.
