62. Tom McMillen, basketball

Before he took the floor in the House of Representatives, the 6-foot-11 forward starred on the hardwood at Maryland. McMillen helped the Terps run the table in the 1972 National Invitation Tournament, winning Most Valuable Player honors. Three times an All-American, he averaged 20.5 points (still a school record) and 9.8 rebounds for the Terps. He played on the 1972 Olympic runners-up, was a Rhodes scholar and spent 11 years in the pros.
