( Weinstein Company / April 1, 2012 ) The MPAA gave the film starring Colin Firth an R rating due to repeated use of the "F" word. The film's distributor appealed for a PG-13 rating, but was unsuccessful. They released another version of the film that removed some of the profanities. It ended up grossing less than the R-rated version. |
