A customer undergoes a teeth whitening treatment in a 'smile shop' or 'smile bar' (bar a sourire) in Nice, France. Clients bite on a gel-filled mouthpiece which reacts to the ultraviolet light. 'Smile shops', specializing in teeth whitening, are common in France.
