Designated and pinch hitters

The <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000160" title="Baltimore Orioles" href="/topic/sports/baseball/baltimore-orioles-ORSPT000160.topic">Orioles</a> only played three games with the DH and managed just a hit and two walks out of what is supposed to be a power slot in the lineup. Overall, the DHs and pinch hitters combined to go 1-for-11 with three walks. That's just not going to cut it in the American League East.
