An update on a Goshen plant that is moving its work out of the country: The Indiana Department of Workforce Development announced that all workers of Cequent Performance Products are eligible to receive services under the federal Trade Adjustment Assistance program.
Those services include a wage subsidy of up to $10,000.
The TAA program is made available to workers who are displaced due to shifts in production out of the country.
Cequent is moving its plant to Mexico, putting almost 450 people out of work. Those layoffs will start sometime in January.
Eligible workers may obtain information at their local WorkOne center.
