Indiana’s unemployment rate is on the rise.
The state released their unemployment numbers Friday and for the second straight month, claims have increased.
For the month of July the unemployment rate was 8.2 percent. That is up from 8 percent in June. In May, the unemployment rate was 7.9 percent.
Indiana is still slightly below the national average of 8.3 percent.
