Fantasy football: Week 5 pickups

Wanna hear my fantasy sob story of the week? In our ultra-competitive Tribune league, I was up 3 points late in the Sunday night game with Eagles QB Michael Vick playing against Philly kicker Alex Henery. With the ball inside the 10 late in the game, Vick -- with 50 rushing yards -- inexplicably runs backward for a yard on third down, putting him at 49 rush yards and dropping me a point. Then Henery comes in to kick the field goal for 3 points to finish me off. Oof!
Did that bore you? Well, nobody likes to hear your fantasy stories, either. ... Now that I got that off my chest, on to the pickups! -- Matthew Wood

Jake Locker has almost no chance of playing this week, which means a start for Hasselbeck. Beyond that, I make few guarantees, though he would've had a pretty nice game in relief if not for a pair of interceptions. If you're like me and somehow have both QBs on a bye this week (what are the odds?) then I suppose there are worse options. I mean, who else are you gonna pick up, Tim Tebow?
