Freight train kills pedestrian in Naperville

Officials investigate an incident involving a pedestrian and a freight train at the Naperville <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORGOV0000006" title="Metra" href="/topic/economy-business-finance/transportation-industry/public-transportation-industry/metra-ORGOV0000006.topic">Metra</a> Station on Wednesday. At around 7 p.m. police received a call of a person struck by a freight train on <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP002383" title="Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation" href="/topic/economy-business-finance/burlington-northern-santa-fe-corporation-ORCRP002383.topic">Burlington Northern Santa Fe</a> tracks near the Naperville Metra station.
