Quenneville staying: Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville squashed rumors that he was considering leaving the team to join new Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin. In May, Bergevin was named GM in Montreal after serving as Stan Bowman’s assistant with the Hawks and there was speculation Quenneville would head north.
