Demonstrators stand outside the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York February 6, 2013. People gathered to protest the enforcing of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2012 and the U.S. government's appeal of a judge's ruling that blocked the indefinite detention of terrorism suspects. The plaintiffs in the case said the law permits the military to arrest U.S. citizens for exercising their freedom of speech and of the press.
