Shayna Cook, partner, Goldman Ismail

Shayna Cook has joined Goldman Ismail LLP as a partner in Chicago. Formerly of Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott LLP, Cook's practice focuses on product liability defense as well as commercial and intellectual property litigation. Cook has represented multinational clients in a variety of commercial litigation. Most notably, she was national trial counsel in major multidistrict litigation involving pharmaceutical product liability, including the Vioxx, Trasylol and YAZ/Yasmin matters. Before Bartlit Beck, Cook was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division. She also was a clerk for federal judge Sam Sparks in Austin, Texas.
