( Patrick T. Fallon, for the Chicago Tribune / September 23, 2012 ) Kenneth Klee, appointed examiner in the Tribune Co. bankruptcy case, holds a copy of his report at his office in Los Angeles. Klee and his team worked for 12 weeks sifting through the Zell deal producing a report running thousands of pages that carefully broke down the evidence. The final bill: about $12 million. |
