"Buck" Jr. Nellie married a wealthy Englishman in a White House ceremony. Jesse helped develop Tijuana, Mexico as a gambling resort and went on to be a Democratic presidential nominee in 1908. Buck was a lawyer and served as a personal secretary of his father. He ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate from California in 1899. |
