PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Betty White joked that Facebook seemed like a huge waste of time during her wildly successful hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live." Turns out she wasn't kidding.
The actress says that was a line written for her and she would have said it herself, but she didn't know what Facebook was and she still doesn't.
White says she doesn't own a computer, forcing her friends to call instead of e-mail.
White says she gets lots of mail, but it's easier to toss out stacks of it than to try and push a button on a computer and store a file.
She calls herself a "technological spaz."
White turns 89 on Jan. 17 and will be feted at a birthday bash in New York.
