MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) — Part of Muskegon had a little creepy feeling this weekend.

The Muskegon Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/SWvjVS ) dozens of people showed up to be zombie extras for a film written and directed by independent filmmaker Ariel Vida.

Vida, who is from Muskegon, is a senior at Michigan State University. She shot the final scene of her first full-length movie, "Sleep, Wake, Forget," on Sunday.

The movie is a drama, sci-fi thriller that follows two brothers who live in a post-apocalyptic world.

Fifty-three-year-old Pam Olsen of North Muskegon was among those who turned out to take part in the film. She says getting dressed up as a zombie was something fun to do.
