Indiana's former governor is becoming a YouTube sensation.
Mitch Daniels, now the president of Purdue University, appears in a new video promoting the school's engineering department.
It's a parody of the song "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
Purdue spokesman Chris Sigurdson says students reached out to Daniels asking him to appear in the music video, and he was game as long as it didn't embarrass the university.
The song includes a jab at IU.
Sigurdson says Daniels wasn't aware that was included.
