Sara Myers Testifies

Sara Myers speaks in support of a proposed bill that would allow doctor-assisted suicide during a Public Health Committee hearing at the Legislative Office Building Wednesday.  Myers was diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, just over three years ago.  The disease, for which there is no cure, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.  "I yearn for the options," she said.
