H1N1 vaccine
The St. Joseph County Health Department offers H1N1 vaccination clinics that are targeted to the following individuals:
  • Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age.
  • Children from 2 years through 18 years of age.
  • Healthcare workers with direct patient contact.
  • Adults between 25 and 64 years of age with underlying medical conditions.

Individuals seeking information about clinic dates should visit http://www.nd.edu/~pandflu, call the Health Department at (574) 245-6656 or the United Way's 2-1-1 number, or contact their primary care physician.

NOBLE COUNTY H1N1 VACCINE CLINICS

The date and times for the next two H1N1 vaccine clinics has been set by the Noble County Health Department.
  • Ligonier: 4-7pm, Tuesday, Nov. 17, Stones Hill Church, 151 W. Stone's Hill Road
  • Avilia: 4-7pm, Monday, Nov. 23, Saint Mary’s Elementary School, 232 N. Main St.

Target groups have been expanded to include:

  • pregnant women;
  • children/young adults age 6 months through 24 years old;
  • persons who live with or provide care for infants less than 6 month old;
  • adults under age 60 with chronic health problems; and
  • Healthcare workers
