Second double-lung transplant gives hope
Born with cystic fibrosis, Cassie Stanley, 27, of Elburn, hopes a second double-lung transplant surgery, which took place on February 11, will give her back a healthy life. She slowly became ill after her body began to reject her first double-lung transplant which took place in 2007.
