SOUTH BEND — Monday marked the beginning of Week 3 for WSBT First Thing in the Morning's Why Weight? contest. A special insert in Sunday's South Bend Tribune was designed to help log the days you exercise and track your progress and commitment.

The inside of the fitness chart has space to keep track of your exercise for 18 weeks. Cari Peugeot, Kirk Mason and Kelli Cheatham are trying to eat healthier and work out more often. They're also in a friendly competition to see who can lose the highest percentage of body weight.

They don't want to do it alone. You can pick up extra copies of the fitness chart at the WSBT Studios or at Memorial's Health and Lifestyle Center. Both are on Jefferson St. in downtown South Bend.

Watch the video for more healthy tips on eating and exercise!
