GRANGER — It can be very difficult to watch what you eat if you have kids. Things like fruit snacks, sugary cereals and macaroni and cheese aren't the best options for any healthy eating program, including WSBT's Why Weight? challenge.

There are foods you can keep in the house that are healthier for everyone. Tiffany Mosso, owner of Let's Go Bananas, demonstrated how to make fruit salsa, tortilla chips and chicken on a stick. For details on how to make both snacks, watch the video link above.

Let's Go Bananas is a children’s based culinary store and cooking class center in Granger.

WSBT First Thing in the Morning's Kirk Mason, Cari Peugeot and Kelli Cheatham are at the end of Week 11 in their 12 week Medical Weight Loss Program. Together, the three have lost more than 45 pounds.

Tune in Friday May 2 to see who wins the weight loss competition.

See more about the program in the Why Weight section of our website.
