Appeals court rules insurance mandate is constitutional

The U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati ruled that the minimum health-insurance coverage provision in President Obama's healthcare law is constitutional, rejecting a challenge by the conservative Thomas More Law Center. Two additional lawsuits are being reviewed by federal appellate courts in Atlanta and Richmond, Va.
