Senate roll call on property tax reform

Votes Friday as the Senate, on a 41-6 vote, approved a major tax relief and reform plan that will provide additional tax cuts to homeowners this year, cap future bills for most property owners and subject major local building projects to referendums. Voting yes were 30 Republicans and 11 Democrats. Voting no were 1 Republican and 5 Democrats.

Excused from voting were Sens. Glenn Howard, D-Indianapolis, and Johnny Nugent, R-Lawrenceburg.
