(AP) The adoptive father of Ricky Holland has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the 7-year-old’s death.

Under the agreement, Tim Holland will testify against his wife, Lisa. Her trial on first-degree murder charges is to start next Monday in Ingham County.

Lisa Holland’s lawyer says that Tim Holland’s has changed his story a lot from what he has said earlier.

The Hollands told police when Ricky disappeared in July 2005 that they believed he had run away from their Williamston home, sparking a massive search.

In January, Tim Holland led authorities to Ricky’s body in rural Ingham County.
