Police Looking For Man In Connection With Two Shootings In Warsaw

By Jim Pinkerton

(WSBT) Two people are dead in two related shootings in Warsaw. Police dispatcher received a call at 5:11 p.m. about a shooting at the Phillips 66 Service Station at 2518 E. Center St., Warsaw. A second call came in a few minutes later about a shooting at 1844 Vicky Lane.

Police say Harpal Singh, 38, of Warsaw, died in the shooting at the gas station. He was found on the sidewalk at the rear of the station, near a laundry entrance. Police say he had numerous gunshot wounds. Singh was the manager of the family owned business.

Although there were people in the business at the time of the shooting, police say no one else was hurt.

The victim from the Vicky Lane shooting was pronounced dead at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Lisa Mora, 32, died from gunshot wounds. Witnesses say Mora's two children were inside the home when the shooting happened, but police didn't confirm or deny that.

Lisa Mora is the wife of the suspect, Omar Mora, 31. Police are looking for his black, 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck with Indiana truck plate 5181T. The vehicle also has a black, hard-style flat cover over the truck bed.

Neighbors of the couple say they're shocked that Omar Mora could be accused of such a crime.

Mora is 5’ 7”, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Singh was involved in a relationship with Mora's wife and the shootings were related to that relationship.
