Update: Fire at Elkhart Grocery Store is Arson

(WSBT) Investigators say an overnight fire in Elkhart is arson. The fire started around 3 a.m. Thursday at the Tres Mil Pas grocery store on Main St.

Earlier in the morning there was another fire at Mi Tierra — a market and catering business on Harrison Street.

Police say someone robbed Tres Mil Pas grocery and then started the fire. The business is a total loss.

Investigators don't believe the fire at Tres Mil Pas is connected to the one at Mi Tierra. Police are calling the cause of that fire undetermined.

No one was hurt in the fires. Watch WSBT News at 5:30 p.m. for more on the investigation.
