Body found in South Bend's Ravina Park

(WSBT) An autopsy scheduled for Thursday morning should give more clues to what happened Wednesday night in a South Bend park. Police found a the body of a woman under a jungle gym in Ravina Park.

St. Joseph County Metro Homicide was on the scene all moring at Ravina Park on South Bend's south side.

Witnesses told WSBT they heard screams coming from the park overnight and people running through the nearby woods.

Police say they have identified the woman and notified immediate family members. They are not releasing her name until more family is notified.
