SOUTH BEND — If you're you looking for a television, sporting goods or clothes at a low price an annual tradition is about to return.

Angie from Wakarusa asks, "When is the Notre Dame dorm cleaning sale?"

The prices are so good, each year on a Saturday morning, "Old 2 Gold" gets people out of bed before dawn.

That's because to get the really good stuff, things like flat screen TVs, you need to get near the front of the line.

The merchandise is from Notre Dame dorm rooms — items students either don't want or can't take home.

This year's Old 2 Gold is Saturday, May 24 at Notre Dame Stadium. It runs from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Notre Dame says this year you can only start to gather in line at 5 a.m. That's a change from years past. Campus security doesn't want people camping out overnight.

The money raised from the sale is donated to local charities who volunteer their time to help run the event. And the university is still looking for volunteers.
