Christmas Carolers Set Guinness World Record

The Compo Beach grounds were packed with 600 people who registered to try and sing their way into the Guinness Book of World Records Wednesday night. The category they hope to top is the largest number of Christmas carolers going door-to-door. The group sang in front of 14 homes, for five minutes each, throughout the Compo Beach neighborhood. In photo, the massive group sang in front of a home on Fairfield Ave. led by Erik Paul, a music teacher form Weston High School. Other than the record, the group will be raising awareness and money for the Lily Sarah Grace Fund, a nonprofit started in memory of the three sisters who died in a Stamford house fire last Christmas morning.
