Leanne Tokars joined the WSBT News team in February 2006 and is happy to be back in her hometown.

Before WSBT, Leanne spent a year and a half in Terre Haute, Indiana, working at WTWO-TV. She began her news career as a reporter and producer. She was quickly promoted to evening anchor after one year on the job.

At the University of Notre Dame, Leanne majored in Marketing. While there, she spent time in New York City interning at Fox News Channel. She also interned in television news in South Bend. Prior to college, Leanne attended and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School.
