"Home is where the heart is.” Born and raised in Niles, Sarah is excited to be back with the people she knows and loves. She attended Niles High School, where she wrote for the school newspaper. Her love for telling stories continued during college at Western Michigan University. She was a newscaster for the student-run radio station, WIDR-FM. She also interned at WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan, WGN Radio in Chicago and right here at WSBT. 

After college, Sarah got her foot in the door by running studio cameras at Fox 28. She eventually moved her way into the producer seat.  But after two years, it was time to chase her dream of becoming a reporter. That landed her at KEYC-TV in Mankato, Minnesota. There she worked as a one-man band, reporting, shooting and editing all her stories. Sarah couldn’t pass up the chance to move back to Michiana to continue her passion of reporting.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys working out, watching Rocky movies and spending time with family and friends.
