( Dinuka Liyanawatte / Reuters / July 30, 2010 ) Employers of the private television station Siyatha TV sit behind a broken glass panel. Unidentified attackers torched the news studio with a gasoline bomb in the early-morning hours of Friday, injuring three workers, according to the police. Sinhala broadcasters Siyatha Radio and Siyatha TV, as well as the English-language Real FM and Tamil-language Vettri FM, which share the same building, have been off the air while investigations are ongoing. |
