A 6-year old child waiting at a school bus stop in Summit Hill was struck by a vehicle just after 8 a.m. this morning. The incident occurred near the intersection of W. Hazard and Market streets. One source stated the female operator of the vehicle did not stop, dragging the child about ten feet, striking a second child then a male who stepped out in front of the vehicle in attempt to stop it. The child was flown by MedEvac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown. Summit Hill police are investigating the incident.
