(SBT24/7News) A warrant was authorized Wednesday for a Granger woman who authorities say was host to a lakeside party in Michigan where a number of Penn High School students were cited for drinking, the Cass County prosecutor's office reported.

The 57-year-old woman faces a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection with the incident shortly after midnight Sept. 18 at 65314 Eby Road off Porter Township's Shavehead Lake. Fourteen Penn students were cited for underage drinking.

She faces a maximum penalty, if convicted, of 90 days in jail and/or $100.

The woman has agreed to surrender herself on the warrant within 24 hours, the prosecutor’s office said.
