In 111 seasons, the Northern State men's basketball team has put up some eye-popping numbers.
So today, in honor of the current men's team that has won seven games in a row, including a 3-0 start in the conference, we have updated the numbers from a historical project we did on that program in 2009.
Four teams are off to a 3-0 start in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Two of those teams will meet at 8 tonight at Wachs Arena in Aberdeen when NSU (7-2) host St. Cloud (6-0). The other 3-0 teams in league play are Augustana (7-0) and Upper Iowa (5-2). NSU will then play Minnesota-Duluth (3-4, 1-2) at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Wolves women (5-2, 1-2) will play St. Cloud (7-0, 3-0) at 6 tonight and Duluth (5-2, 2-1) at 5 p.m. Saturday.
