The Aberdeen City Council will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the courtroom on the third floor of the Municipal Building, 123 S. Lincoln St.
The agenda items for Monday include:
Weight limits: (Continued) Possible second reading as amended and final adoption of Ordinance No. 12-02-02, amending Chapter 52 of the Aberdeen Municipal Code by adding a new Article IX regulating the weight of trucks.
Airport board: Possible second reading and final adoption of Ordinance No. 12-02-04, amending Article II of Chapter 10 of the Aberdeen Municipal Code dealing with the Aberdeen Airport Board.
Axle weighers: (Continued) Possible approval to authorize the acquisition of four Haenni WL101 Wheel Load portable axle scale weighers at a cost of $4,895 per unit for the Aberdeen Police Department.
Budget amendment: (Continued) Possible approval of an amendment to the Aberdeen Police Department's budget in the amount of $19,580 for the purchase of weigher scales.
Advertisement for bids: Set bid date of 2 p.m. March 13 for 2012 asphaltic concrete and surfacing repair mix; 2012 Bituminous oils; 2012 seal coat aggregates.
Right of way: Petition to vacate public right-of-way - the 66-foot section line right-of-way adjacent to the east property line of Lot 2, NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 22, T123N, R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County - set hearing 5:30 p.m. March 19.
Plats: 1. Lot 1, Sieh and Vilhauer 1st Subdivision in the City of Aberdeen in the NW 1/4 of Section 19, T123N, R63W; 2. Lot 1 and Lot 2, Old Parks and Recreation Addition to the City of Aberdeen in the NE 1/4 of Section 24, T123N, R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County; 3. Rezoning: Possible first reading of Ordinance No. 12-01-01, amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone certain described property from Section 707 (C-2) to Section 705 (R-3) Lot 3, Block 2, Pleasant Hill Addition and Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 3, Garden Park Addition in the NE 1/4 of Section 23, T123N, R64W of the 5th P.M., Aberdeen, Brown County.
Rezoning: Possible first reading of Ordinance No. 12-02-01, amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone certain described property from Section 713 (M) to Section 705 (R-3) Lot 1, Old Parks and Recreation Addition to the City of Aberdeen in the NE 1/4 of Section 24, T123N, R64W of the 5th P.M., Aberdeen, Brown County.
Surplus property: Possible approval of Resolution No. 12-02-04R, declaring real estate surplus property and submitting a change of use of such property to the voters.
