South Dakota employers said they plan to hire workers at a solid pace throughout the summer.
The report by Manpower Inc. shows that 21 percent of businesses surveyed plan to add employees from July through September, while only 3 percent said they expect to reduce payrolls. About 75 percent of employers surveyed expect to maintain current staff levels.
The Sioux Falls Argus Leader reported that the results are nearly identical to the previous quarter.
