PLYMOUTH — At least one gas station in Plymouth is currently selling regular unleaded for $2.99 per gallon, the cheapest fuel in the state according to a fuel-price monitoring Web site.

According to www.indianagasprices.com, the Bellmart BP station, located at 423 N. Michigan St., was offering the price as of 4.21 p.m. EDT. A spokeswoman for the station confirmed the price when contacted by telephone.

Several other stations in Plymouth were offering gas for $3.11 to $3.12 per gallon, according to the site.

Why aren't all the Speedway gas stations doing the same thing? They should all have it at the same price. Even if it is just for awhile. Only the one in Plymouth is giving 5 cents off with the rewards card And the Bremen & Lapaz stations are still higher.

Just Wait until the fed dumps that democrat sponsored 700 billion bailout into the money supply. Gas will be $10.00 a gallon. Here comes inflation boys and girls, we are in for a rocky ride!

Gas in Plymouth last night was down to $2.74 at Wal-Mart. It's gonna come down more, the price per barrel is dropping due to fears of a global recession. They say crude will hit floor bottom at $50 a barrel. If so, we could see gas drop below $2 a gallon soon. Could of always been like that.

Just wait. After the Fed prints all of their phoney counterfeit money and sends it into the money supply, prices will go sky high on everything. Inflation, boys and girls is well on it's way.

I want to know why gas can be 2.99 in Plymouth and 15 miles down the road, on the south side of South bend, it's still 3.40

our gas in plymouth has been cheaper than south bend area for almost a week. Gas was $3.30 last thursday and have steadily been dropping. Today's meeting didn't have an impact on it, it's probably what stimulated other people in the area crying "foul"

Gas in Argos is 2.99/gal also. It is better, but it still could be 2.00-2.50 range. Remember, when Bush started gas was $1.46/gall

Does anyone else feel that it's an amazing correlation between the gas prices dropping so much today and the meeting in Indy @ 10:00 this morning regarding gas pricing practices.

The price for gas should be much lower than it is!! The price for a barrel of oil has been trading around the $90 mark for several weeks. Earlier this year when it cost that, we were paying $2.60 to $2.75 a gallon.

Head 20 miles to the east and in Warsaw gas prices are still $3.40 something per gallon. Why such a difference?

Good its about time !! Now if we can only get the stations in South Bend to lower theres to that same price we will be doing better.. Thank You President George W. Bush for announcing we will be drilling for oil !! Now only if we can get our do nothing congress to do the same

$3.12 last night... $2.99 today. Pretty sweet but, would be even better if we thought it could stay here. Gee, what a novel plan to help the economy... make gas affordable again!?

Don't worry it will be heading down sharply soon, when they're no more jobs to go to.

Why do we still have the highest prices in the country? In Missouri it's 2.97/gallon.......why are we still 50-60 cents higher?????????
