Charmin to sponsor 'SitOrSquat' restroom locater

CINCINNATI (AP) — Procter & Gamble's Charmin brand toilet paper has joined in sponsoring a Web site that helps travelers find clean public restrooms.

P&G says the site, reachable at www.SitOrSquat.com, is particularly helpful to families traveling with children or people with special needs, and helps them find clean facilities, changing tables and handicap access.

The Web site depends on feedback from the public, and has logged more than 52,000 toilets in 10 countries. Procter & Gamble says it is the world's leading toilet database and locating service.

A company spokesman says the partnership with SitOrSquat is "the next evolution" of a Charmin Restrooms installation at Times Square in New York City.
