(WSBT) The closest mayor's race in our area was in Benton Harbor.
Mayor Wilce Cooke held off challenger James Atterbury by just six votes.
Cooke received 645 votes, Atterbury received 639 votes.
The margin falls well within the standard for a recount in Michigan.
The clerk's office says people from both sides have been asking about the process.
