INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The race for the Democratic presidential nomination is picking up steam in Indiana, with New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton planning a visit next Thursday.

Clinton's campaign says she plans to visit multiple cities across the state. More details will be announced later.

The campaign also named Robby Mook state director and Marlon Marshall Indiana field director. Both helped Clinton win in Nevada and Ohio earlier this year.

Clinton's announcement comes a day after tickets for a Saturday appearance by Illinois Sen. Barack Obama at Plainfield High School sold out in less than 90 minutes.

Indiana's primary will be held May 6, and the state's 72 delegates are expected to play an important role in deciding the nomination.

I'm so excited Hillary is coming to Indiana. She is the candidate who can turn this economy around and start bringing our troops home in a responsible manner.
