— Most-recent state trips: Stops in Terre Haute, Anderson and Evansville on Thursday; May 5-6, 2007, stayed overnight at the Carmel estate of Indiana Pacers owner Melvin Simon before a private fundraising brunch there.

— Prominent backers: Sen. Evan Bayh, former Gov. Joe Kernan, Indiana House Speaker Patrick Bauer, state party Chairman Dan Parker.

— Superdelegate commitments: Bayh, Parker, and Democratic National Committee members Phoebe Crane of Whitestown and Robert Pastrick, a former East Chicago mayor.

BARACK OBAMA

— Indiana fundraising: $466,903 through January

— Most-recent state trips: Spoke at rally in Plainfield on Saturday; July 29, 2007, attended private fundraiser at a supporter's home in Indianapolis.

— Prominent backers: Former U.S. Rep. Tim Roemer, Gary Mayor Rudy Clay, state party Vice Chairwoman Cordelia Lewis-Burks.

— Superdelegate commitments: Lewis-Burks and DNC member Connie Thurman of Indianapolis.
